Saltcoats North Parish Church of Scotland

CLOSED

The church is now closed for services.

We held our final closing service on Sunday 26th November 2023.

The closure is part of the Church of Scotland Presbytery Plan to consolidate buildings and ministers.

From 1st January 2024 we merge with Kirkgate, Ardrossan Park, and St Cuthberts to form a new church of 'Ardrossan and Saltcoats Church of Scotland'.

This church will utilise the former Kirkgate and Park buildings as part of an extended campus to service Saltcoats and Ardossan parishes.

This website will be updated over the future months to give more details of the new extended congregations as they take shape.

It will also be retained as an archive of the history of North Parish Church.

In October of 2014 we celebrated the 50th anniversary of our current church building (previously, what is now the large hall was the church).

There is also pictures of the former North Parish Church that was originally sited next to the War Memorial in Saltcoats (on the site that is now Sainsburys). Which only shows that this is not the first time that we have been on the move!
